Our Story

Established in 1975 by Late Shri Pramod Kumar Jalan — who founded the company at the age of just 18 — Agarwal Chemicals began with a clear focus: to source and supply the industrial chemicals that Indian manufacturers depend on, reliably and consistently. Over the decades that focus has grown into an ISO 9001:2015 certified trading and distribution business with turnover crossing ₹125 crores, spanning many chemical families and industrial sectors.
Chemical imports and trading remain the chief focus of the company's business. Agarwal Chemicals operates full-fledged logistics facilities at Kolkata and Mumbai, and imports chemicals through major Indian ports including Kolkata, Nhava Sheva, Kandla, Vizag and Chennai, serving customers across the country.
